At the top of the ranks is the 'First Knight' and the 'Second Knight', the leader and co-leader of the Black Knights. Below them is the 'Knights of the Crown' also known as the (KOC)

The (KOC) consists of the core of the leadership under which the Black Knights is governed. With the rank of (KOC) comes a specific duty in which the officer will be given a second title. Second titles such as 'Administrator','Forum Moderator','Recruiter','Website Admin', and 'Division leader'.

'Guardians of the Crown' are made up of members who have, at one point in time in BK, been great leaders such as KoC etc. They can be people who have been in the guild for literally YEARS. They can be people who have done more work for this guild in 1 week than most do in their lifetime.

But they are also people who due to unfortunate circumstances such as real life problems, job problems, PC problems, or just plain burnt out, don't have the time, or desire to be an ACTIVE leader in the present time.

But at the same time, these people do NOT deserve a demotion. They did nothing wrong. Real life comes first, and leading this guild is far from easy. So basicly this branch is a place for people to retain their "royalty" status in the guild, but not have to have the burden of people hassling them with leadership issues.

'Guardians of the Crown' are considered the same on the heiarchy as KoC's. They are to be revered by all as someone who is sort of a retired war General. They served their time, they did their duty, and they earned the title of Guardian of the Crown. They are just now relaxing, and letting new blood take the reins.

The 'Lord of the Swords' & 'Knights of the Swords' are the elite of the Black Knights. These are the people who have made an impact on the guild in one way or another that earned them their rank.

The 'Lords of the Rose' & 'Knights of the Rose' are the main fighting force of the Black Knights.

Squires are the lowest rank within the Black Knights. There will be an evaluation period for a MINIMUM of 30 days with a MAXIMUM of infinity for all squires. In order to get promoted to the rank of (KOR) a squire must make an extreme effort to get to know the guild. Be active in game, on the website forums AND in TeamSpeak. Failure to do any of these can keep the squire from being promoted.

It is NOT our policy to promote someone just because they have been a squire for a certain amount of time. Once a squire has been around enough a vote will take place where the members of the Black Knights will determine if this squire is "BK Material". If the squire gets the required number of votes the squire is then promoted to the rank of (KOR).

CHAIN OF COMMAND
