Did you notice a decreased workload in your processor since the release? Thanks what it suppose to do.

its garbage... yes it improves 10-15 fps, but it also adds stuttering and crashing.

Crashes and stuttering aside (it is in beta), this seems to improve graphic performance on low to mid tier systems that may be CPU bottle necked. On an enthusiast or high end rig, you will see minor improvements based on the less resource intensive API.

But that high end rig is already pushing 80+ fps so the only thing that you will see improved is that little number in the corner of your screen...

...my issue with that is the cards that it supports are not considered low end. so it contradicts its purpose. My rig isnt highend, i would say its in the middle.

from amd "Mantle: the AMD Radeon  R9 and R7  cards, plus the Radeon HD 8000 and 7000 series, and as well as the A10-7000 and A8-7000 APUs. Don’t expect to see the same dramatic gains in frame rate using the older cards, however, AMD warns—you’ll have to wait for future updates to see those improvements."

So from what they say. The older rigs should operate smoother, but not get an FPS boost and the newer cards will see the fps. I know its still in beta, but with all the hype one would have thought it would be a tad better.
